Playgroup Olleke Bolleke is located in the new Starrenburg 2 district of Voorschoten. The playgroup is housed in a community school, has its own classroom and makes use of the facilities of the primary school and the BSO (out-of-school care).

Olleke Bolleke has a beautiful, spacious and bright playroom. The many windows in the room and cheerful colors on the walls give the playroom a fresh interior. There is an outdoor playground with a fixed sandbox and a small slide. We also have plenty of outdoor toys for both the young and the older toddler.

We work according to a fixed program; from 9-10 o’clock free play, then clean up together, pee. In the circle we eat fruit (share together and wait your turn) and have a drink together. Then, weather permitting, we can go outside where we can cycle, slide and play in the sandbox when the weather is nice. With bad weather we can use the indoor play hall of the BSO. Here too, toddlers can clamber, play and ride to their heart’s content.

Around 11 o’clock we eat a biscuit in the circle and we read a book, sing and move (very important for toddlers!). We also try to have small conversations with the children, often based on the theme we are working on at that moment: eg. be sick, eat well, ‘it’s hot!’ or talk and sing. We talk about the regular annual celebrations such as Sint, Christmas and Easter.

During these holidays, the program may deviate slightly if, for example, we go looking for Easter eggs together or celebrate a cozy Christmas brunch together. The teachers have the help of the Parent Committee that is active on Olleke Bolleke.

Toddler playgroup Olleke Bolleke offers your child a variety of options to stimulate and stimulate development in a playful and casual way.
